Analogue attached DECT Phones

For smaller offices where there is a need for a small number of wireless phones and range is not large, third party handsets such as the BT Diverse DECT phones can be added cost effectively to Avaya IP Office via an analogue extension port.

Avaya have launched their own range of conference phones which offer excellent sound quality and ease of use. The B149 models feature an integrated call recording facility which records conversations to the convenience of an SD memory card.

The Avaya IP Office is compatible with third party conference phones like the popular Polycomm Soundstation range which is available in a number of different configurations to suit varying sizes of meeting room. It should be remembered that the Avaya 5410 and 5420 handsets have built in microphone and speaker combinations and an satisfactorily be used in small meeting rooms and private offices for conference calls. The Polycomm phones do benefit from having greater tonal quality and more sensitive and directional microphones.

Third Party SIP Phones

Avaya IP Office is fully compatible with SIP extensions – handsets that use the SIP voice standard and these are available from many different third party manufacturers. SIP handsets require additional software licences on the Avaya IP Office.
