BANK INTEGRATION
The first phase of direct integration with banking institutions and Flyingboat has been completed. Interfaces to Barclays and RBSI have been provided to enable electronic statement download and data retention. This enables bank transaction history to be recorded and virtual statements to be constructed at any time.
Where client accounting is taking place within the Flyingboat accounting sub-system the functionality can be extended to include automated reconciliation of postings across the Bank Account. Furthermore the functionality has a rules based Auto Post capability enabling readily recognisable bank movements such as interest and charges to be auto posted. This can then be extended with additional entity auto posting specific rules to enable other recognisable and recurring bank movements to be auto posted.
Integration with further banking institutions will be added as clients require them.
