An Integrated Solution
Flyingboat Classic provides the core functionality for Wealth Management businesses in a single integrated solution running in a familiar Microsoft Windows environment. Each sub‑system offers a discrete set of functionality enabling a user organisation to choose just those sub‑systems that are required to meet their needs.

Highlights of the system are as follows:
- Unprecedented depth of functionality – with 10 years of functional development Flyingboat is a very feature rich product – probably the best in class.
- Flexible – Displays feature customisible options such as column display choice, data filtering and grouping options enabling the user to tailor displays to their needs.
- Highly standardised database – all key elements of data are modelled within a Class and Type data structure – e.g. a property holding company would be a Type of the Investment Company Class. Using such a system of data modelling allows new styles structures to be added to Flyingboat as they come into existence without the need to go back to the drawing board with the product design.
- Rules ‑ Bound into the concept of Classes and Types, Rules are associated with the Class and may be varied by Jurisdiction to enable data to be bound by the Rules. For example Business or Legal rules can be associated with a given Entity Class e.g. Guernsey Investment Companies must have a minimum of 2 Directors, A Jersey Discretionary Trust is excluded from having the Statutory role of Director associated with it, A BVI Investment Company is excluded from having the Ledger Class of Trust Capital. This powerful feature ensures your data will always conform to the standards you wish to apply.
- Default Structures – Sets of Default structures can be established for each Entity Type & Jurisdiction enabling administrators to set up new entities to your standards time after time in the minimum of time.
- AutoPilots for productivity – our Autopilots break down complex tasks into simple step by step processes with learned behaviour, sensible pick‑list choices and other productivity aids to enable these tasks to be performed correctly and rapidly time after time.
- Easy Reporting & Data Extract – Integrated reporting without the need to engauge report writing consultants. Flyingboat has in excess of 50 standard reports many of which feature multiple format variants. Additionally data can be extracted to Excel from reports and on screen lists giving maximum flexibility without additional expense. Report Preferences can also be saved personally or globally to enable standard reports to be run time after time.
For smaller organisations Flyingboat Classic may be all they reqiure, but larger or more sophisticated organisations would probably wish to enhance their environment by adding Flyingboat Process Management Edition and utilising services provided via Flyingboat Plus Pack.
