By building on the core capabilities of Flyingboat a number of organisations have commissioned bespoke solutions to address very specific business requirements that they have. Typically these have been to support the requirements of financial services products that our clients operate.
These bespoke commissions have commonly been in the areas of employment scheme administration, custodian activities and pension administration. Some of these bespoke commissions have been required to enable bulk processing of data , or processing of data feeds from specific sources. In all cases the investment has been made in response to a number of factors:
- to extend the database capabilities to store additional information structures that would not have a natural home in the standard product
- to provide import or export facilities for data exchange with other systems or data providers / consumers
- to automate processing that would otherwise by very time consuming to process manually.
