This is a client facing role providing help and assistance at all levels within an organisation, delivering the highest standard of support to address issues arising from our
Flyingboat user base. The role demands a thorough understanding of fiduciary business administration
and is ideally suited to candidates who have a background in Trust and Company
Administration and wish to move on from the day to day routine nature of
administration to something more varied and stimulating.
Naturally, the candidate should be a proficient user of Microsoft Windows and Office software,
however specific knowledge of Flyingboat is not a pre-requisite as a full
training will be provided. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and an ability to work in a methodical and analytical way.
It would equally suit an outgoing and confident fiduciary industry practitioner seeking a new challenge
or a desire to move into an IT related role, as it would an individual already involved in delivering end user software support. The role can involve on-site delivery of training and support which may involve off-island travel.
The role also provides a conduit from user to Fusion to feedback ideas for
the on-going development of Flyingboat.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and value that the individual
brings to the business.
Software Developer
With an expanded technology base within which our software environment operates we are seeking to strengthen our development team. Traditionally we develop in Delphi.Net with SQL databases and with the migration of Flyingboat to a Microsoft.Net enabled Open Systems Architecture we welcome applications from candidates
of all levels of experience who can help us deliver solutions that may involve integrations with other .Net enabled applications, as well as delivery of Flyingboat
content and functionality into web based environments including Microsoft
SharePoint.
Fusion operates a structured development environment and candidates would
need to be familiar with objected orientated development environments and SQL
databases. Whilst proficiency in Delphi is desirable it is not essential,
though candidates should be able to demonstrate proficiency in other languages.
We are increasingly developing on a number of platforms and as such we seek
individuals who are multi skilled or willing to be adaptable and take on new
skills as is required.
Whilst we seek applications primarily from developers, we also welcome
applications from candidates with experience of systems design, analysis and
those who enjoy working directly with end users.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and value that the individual
brings to the business.
Closing Date for applications: 13th June 2008
Note for agencies. Fusion's recruitment policy is to
advertise vacancies directly and expect prospective candidates to apply directly
for available positions. Candidates who have their details placed with an agency
that supplies the candidates details speculatively may find that the candidate's application is not considered
for a vacancy and a direct approach from the candidate would be required.
Fusion will consider exceptions to this policy based on unusual or specific
circumstances.
