  Awards for Achievement - Fusion Runner Up

At the Board of Industry's Awards for Achievement Gala Presentation evening held at a packed Beau Sejour, Fusion was one of three companies short listed for the Cable & Wireless Innovation in Business award. The award was adjudged by Cable & Wireless on the theme of the application of IT and in particular internet technologies to deliver tangible business benefits. Fusion's submission was based on the extension of our Flying Boat support system to provide a web portal enabling clients to gain access to log and review the status of support calls, download new versions of software and utilities, access support materials and documentation on a 24 / 7 basis. The system greatly improves efficiency and provides complete transparency of our support process thus delivering an improved customer service and experience.

Multi-national retail giant Specsavers won the award and we are immensely proud of our achievement in making it a close run contest against such a large and well resourced organisation. We are especially proud that our efforts and capabilities in developing our support system have been recognised by peers in the industry. We thank all of the hard work put in by our staff in designing and developing the system.

  Avaya launch Small Office Edition

Avaya have launched a new range of models known as the Small Office Edition to address the requirements of the 2 - 28 extension telephone system market.   Avaya #1 in Voice over IP telephony

Fusion's choice of Avaya as their prefered vendor for telephony solutions has been given a further boost by the company's rise to worldwide leadership in the IP telephony market. Market research from Infotech and Synergy Research Group into IP line shipments based on Q1 2003 also showed that Avaya had now also increased their share of the huge US market to 22%.   Fusion to exhibit at Technology Expo 2003 - 11th June 2003

Fusion Systems appeared at the Technology Expo 2003 organised by the Board of Industry.
